James Thibodeau, a beloved resident of Clarkston, Michigan, has tragically passed away at the age of 28, leaving his family, friends, and community in profound grief. The heartbreaking loss occurred on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, and has left those who knew him deeply saddened.
Obituary For James Thibodeau
Jim was the cherished son of Robert and Karen Thibodeau and a devoted brother to Mikayla (James) Smith, Thomas, Kateri, Joe, Kathleen, and Tim Thibodeau. He was the grandson of Ruth Ann Thibodeau and Jim and Kathleen Taube, and a dear family friend to Duncan Whitney.
Jim also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever treasure his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Thibodeau, and dear family friend, Newell Whitney.
A proud graduate of Everest Collegiate High School & Academy in 2015, Jim continued his academic journey at Oakland University, earning a degree in mechanical engineering. His passions extended beyond academics, as he enjoyed fishing, playing ice hockey, soccer, basketball, disc golf, and listening to country music. Jim was also known for his talent in the kitchen, delighting his family with his cooking and baking skills.
