Death: Nathan Taylor, Firefighter from Bamawm Extension and Echuca CFA, has Sadly Passed Away

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nathan Taylor, a cherished member of the Bamawm Extension Fire Brigade and the Echuca CFA. Nathan’s untimely departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues.

Obituary: Remembering Nathan Taylor

Nathan Taylor joined the Bamawm Extension Fire Brigade in November 2023. After transferring from the Echuca Fire Brigade, Nathan remained a proud and active member of his former team. His contributions to the Echuca Fire Brigade were numerous, and he played a significant role in their recent triumph at the NSW State Championships, where they secured first place overall. 

Additionally, Nathan made history as the first member of the Bamawm Extension Fire Brigade to participate in the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb in 2024, finishing in the top 10 and demonstrating his commitment to excellence.

Nathan’s sudden passing has left his colleagues and community heartbroken. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and joy will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. The Bamawm Extension Fire Brigade and Echuca CFA extend their deepest condolences to Nathan’s family – Kerrie, Craig, Lyndall, and Luke – as well as his many friends and fellow firefighters.
