His enthusiasm, patience, and unwavering support for his players made him a role model to many. Whether on the field or the court, Josh’s presence brought joy and encouragement to everyone around him.

Tragically, the accident that claimed Josh’s life occurred on I-376 near the Squirrel Hill Tunnel. His vehicle skidded off the guardrail, plunging nearly five stories down a hillside before coming to rest in a cold stream at Nine Mile Run. The heartbreaking loss of such a vibrant and compassionate individual has left the entire community reeling.

In the wake of this tragedy, the South Fayette community is rallying to support the Willy family. Donations are being collected to help Celena care for their young children during this unimaginably difficult time. Contributions will go directly to the family, ensuring they have the resources needed to navigate life without Josh’s guiding presence.
